The Wonder of Water: The Cotter Dam Education Kit
As part of the Cotter Dam enlargement, Icon Water developed an education program to involve local students and help them learn about the significance of the new dam and the Cotter Precinct. The program, which is aimed at students from Kindergarten to Year 10, includes a comprehensive suite of education units and resources developed by teachers, for teachers. The curriculum units are aligned with the Australian curriculum and fall broadly under three strands:
- Environment: Protecting the environment
- Science: Engineering and water supply
- History: people and place
