Consultation for revised liquid trade waste acceptance guidelines (now closed)

The Utilities (Technical Regulation) (Water and Sewerage Code) Approval 2024, a technical code under the Utilities (Technical Regulation) Act 2014, has recently been updated. This code sets out specific requirements for how we, as a regulated utility, manage liquid trade waste.

As a result, we have recently completed an extensive review of our current liquid trade waste acceptance guidelines to ensure compliance with this technical code. As part of our review, we sought feedback from the community and are currently reviewing submissions.

The current drafts are:

  13. Florist - plants retail (TW-GN-109)
  14. Funeral parlour / morgue (TW-GN-110)

These documents are now more comprehensive and seek to cover requirements across the full approval cycle.
