Update to water main repair along Haydon Drive near Belconnen Way in Bruce

Icon Water has been conducting essential unplanned works to repair a burst water main near the intersection of Haydon Drive and Belconnen Way, Bruce since Tuesday 1 July.

The repairs to the pipe were completed this morning and Icon Water is currently restoring the road and footpath.

Southbound traffic turning out of Haydon Drive eastward onto Belconnen Way has one closed lane while road restoration takes place. This lane is expected to reopen on Friday, 4 July.

Restoration works to the footpath are expected to be completed next week.

Icon Water also advise vehicles and pedestrians to take extra care around the area.
