We’ve launched a multi-phase engagement program to hear from customers, community members, businesses, and stakeholders across the ACT.
Your ideas and feedback will help guide how we plan our water resources, respond to climate challenges, and improve conservation.
Why it matters
Canberra faces growing challenges: climate variability, population growth, and changing water demands. By planning ahead, we can:

What’s happening
We’re running a multi-phased community engagement program. Your input will help inform:
- Long-term water security strategies
- Updates to water conservation and restriction rules
- The ACT Government’s refreshed Water Strategy
- Ongoing community engagement and education
Phase 1 has been completed, and Phase 2 has just started.
